An undercover cop and an officer avenging his slain partner team up to take down a Triad syndicate whose armory is located in a Hong Kong hospital. The image of Chow, as Officer “Tequila” Yuen, mowing down gangsters with a maternity ward baby under his arm is iconic, and as a whole the drawn-out hospital climax (which took 40 days to shoot) is the most deliriously awesome set piece in shootout history.
